I’m hosting a fundraiser to support Guide Dogs SA/NT

We're raising funds for Guide Dogs SA/NT to help ensure that everyone in South Australia and the Northern Territory who needs a Guide Dog can have one, just like the one that guides one of our Venturer leaders.

Guide Dogs SA/NT also provides specialist vision, mobility, social, and support services for people of all ages living with low vision, blindness, or other specialised needs, helping them build confidence and independence.

By supporting this fundraiser, you’re helping to:

  • Care for puppies in training with the essentials they need as they grow.

  • Cover the cost of their expert training, which can take more than two years.

  • Deliver vital vision and mobility services to the people who rely on them.

Warekila Venturers are hosting this event to raise funds towards the impact that affects blind people. We chose this due to the affect it has on our group itself, as one of our leaders is blind. We wanted to raise awareness towards the disability and to help the community around us and Australia.
